Services for Armed Forces Community

It was  recently decided to raise awareness amongst colleagues in different public sector agencies and voluntary organisations about some of the services available for members of the Armed Forces Community and veterans and their families.

As part of this, we have worked with the Royal British Legion to organise a couple of short information workshops.

These will be on Thursday morning 25th May, in Committee Room Two at Burnley Town Hall.

Please consider coming along to one of the sessions, and inviting other colleagues you work with to come along too.

The sessions will last about one hour and fifteen minutes, and you have a choice …

One session starts at 9.30 am.

The other starts at 11 am.

The sessions will be led by the Area Manager, Lancashire and Manchester, of the Royal British Legion. Information will be provided on the new ‘Veteran’s Gateway’, a one-stop service to better support British Armed Forces veterans in need.
